The dancing couple from Stryi, David Komarnytskyi and Angelina Cherkovska, won gold at the international competition The UK Open Championships.
The athletes became absolute champions in the under-14 category in European and Latin American programs.
“It is impossible to believe it and it is impossible to describe in words the emotions that overwhelm us! It’s everyone’s dream – to be here, to dance at this legendary championship,” says athlete coach Iryna.
This is the last performance of athletes in the age category under 14 years. In this category, they won many of the most famous and prestigious competitions.
“It is impossible to believe that these children, being in Ukraine, training without light, in the cold, to the sound of sirens, played in all the most prestigious competitions in the world. Just heroes and the pride of Ukraine,” adds the coach.
