Success of Taekwondo Athletes at the Ukrainian Poomsae Championship
On March 22-23, the Ukrainian Poomsae Taekwondo (WTF) Championship took place in the city of Khmelnytskyi. This time, over 160 athletes from various parts of Ukraine competed for the title of the best.
Categories and Participants
According to the Regulations, all participants are represented in different age categories: ‘boys’ (10-11 years), ‘cadets’ (12-14 years), ‘juniors’ (15-17 years), ‘adults’ (18+). The competition program includes: individual male and female, pair and team male and female performances.
Among the competition participants were students of the Horodok Sports School: Anastasiya Krompashchyk, Olena Komnatna, Matviy Zaliznyak, who as part of the regional team, represented the Lviv region with dignity at the national championship.
Competition Results
- In the ‘juniors’ category, ANASTASIYA KROMPASHCHYK – silver medalist of the Ukrainian Championship (program type – team performance)
- In the ‘cadets’ category, OLENA KOMNATNA – bronze medalist of the Ukrainian Championship (program type – team performance)
