Scholarships of the President of Ukraine were awarded to outstanding athletes in Paralympic and Deaflympic sports and their coaches. The relevant decree has already been signed by the head of state. The list includes three athletes and 4 coaches of Lviv region.
In particular, the award was given to:
- Silver medalist of the Paralympic Games in table tennis Victor Didukh Viktor, in the amount of 12 thousand hryvnias
- Silver medalist of the Paralympic Games in wheelchair fencing Natalia Morkvych Natalya Morkvych in the amount of 12 thousand hryvnias
- To the bronze medalist of the Summer Paralympic Games in Athletics Roman Pavlyk in the amount of 10 thousand hryvnias.
Paralympic coaches Oleksandr Didukh, Andriy Kolesnikov and Oleg Leshchyshyn will also receive prizes in the same amount as athletes. Elena Salnikova, the coach of the Ukrainian swimming team and the coach of the silver medalist of the Paralympic Games Kateryna Denysenko in the amount of UAH 12,000, was also awarded to Olena Salnikova.
