Truskavets native Nazarii Zadorozhnyi has taken bronze at the World Ballroom Dance Championship, held in the United Kingdom as part of the INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL 2026.
The young dancer, a pupil of Secondary School No. 2 in Truskavets and a member of Yuventa Dance Studio (coach Yurii Zadorozhnyi), competed in partnership with Karolina Boichun from Odesa. In the under-12 age category they faced off against 30 of the world's strongest couples.
The duo first successfully progressed through the quarter-final stage, then reached the semi-final, and in the grand final represented Ukraine and Truskavets at the highest level of competitive dancing. Based on the results of the competition, the couple stepped onto the podium, finishing in third place.
The announcement also extends thanks to the athletes' preparation partner, SKM Design, and wishes the coaches continued success in nurturing new world-class dance couples.
