Young basketball players from Truskavets brought home bronze medals after the regional competition in Lviv, which took place on 3-4 April. Teams from various children’s and youth sports schools in the region participated in the tournament.
The competition was organised by the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional State Administration together with the Lviv Basketball Federation. The Truskavets athletes, members of the ‘Sportovets’ club, competed under the guidance of coach Oleksandr Matsiovych to secure third place.
The winners of the tournament were the team from the ‘Regional Children’s and Youth Sports School – 2’, while the second place was claimed by the Lviv Club of Ball Sports. Participants express gratitude to God and the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the opportunity to train and compete.
