Four young swimmers from Truskavets secured eight podium finishes at the open swimming cup ‘Three Elements’, held on 22 March in Lviv. The competition saw participation from around 300 boys and girls aged 9-14 from 21 teams.
Truskavets was represented by trainees from the swimming department of DYUSK ‘Sportovets’, coached by Ihor Pavliv. The prize winners were:
- Yevhen Melnychuk: 50 breaststroke – 2nd place, 100 breaststroke – 2nd place.
- Sofiya Lyapun: 50 butterfly – 2nd place, 100 butterfly – 3rd place.
- Heorhiy Shvets: 50 freestyle – 2nd place.
- Oleksandr Molenda: 50 backstroke – 1st place, 50 freestyle – 2nd place, awarded the Three Elements Cup for outstanding sporting achievements.
