Truskavets athletes are actively participating in volleyball and basketball competitions.
On November 8, 2025, the Lviv Region Championship “Children’s League” volleyball competitions started in Lviv. In the first round among boys aged 14-15, teams from DUSC “Sportivets” from Truskavets and KZ DYUSSH named after P. Korol from Lviv faced each other. The team from Truskavets, which began training on September 15, 2025, under the guidance of Olena Kramar, lost with a score of 3:0. However, the young athletes showed a will to win and a desire to improve.
On November 9, 2025, in Lviv, the basketball division trainees of the Truskavets DUSC “Sportivets” competed with their peers from the regional DYUSSH. Under the leadership of Oleksandr Matskovych, Truskavets players lost 75:56, but gained valuable experience.
In the open championship of the Lviv region for the 2025-2026 season in the Higher Youth Basketball League (HYBL) among boys born in 2010-2011, games are held in two rounds. Truskavets “Sportivets” will have the opportunity to “bounce back” in the next round of competitions.
