The 3rd stage of orienteering competitions took place in Lviv district as part of the “Side by Side All-Ukrainian School Leagues” project.
Today, in Stryi Park, young athletes demonstrated their skills, because orienteering is always something new, interesting, and exciting. No records are set here, but you can only be the best here and now. This is a sport that harmoniously combines physical, mental and psychological qualities.
The top 6 teams fought for the victory.
As a result of the fierce competition, the prize places were distributed as follows:
1st place – Godovitsky Lyceum of Sokilnytsia village (Sokilnytsia territorial community);
2nd place – Sknylivska gymnasium named after the Righteous Andrey Sheptytsky (Zymnovodivska village council of the territorial community);
3rd place – team Pidberiztsi Lyceum: Minutes of School Life (Pidberiztsi Rural Territorial Community).
The following teams also took part in the competition: Zhyrivska gymnasium named after the Servant of God M. Halan (Solonkivska territorial community), Pustomytyn lyceum N2 named after Vasyl Kuchabsky (Pustomytyn territorial community), and Novyi Yarychiv secondary school (Novyi Yarychiv village council).
Roman Chepil, the chief judge and member of the Orienteering Federation of Lviv Oblast, introduced the competition regulations.
The winners were awarded by Roman Khimyak, Head of the Youth and Sports Department.
