
In Lviv, 1700 people have received the opportunity to visit fitness centers for free.
Military personnel, combat participants, veterans, and family members of fallen defenders are benefiting from this program as part of the Support Program implemented by the sports office of the Lviv City Council. Overall, 1700 people have already taken advantage of it. @lvivadm. The compensation program has been in effect for almost two years. Special memberships are offered in sports clubs with conditions totaling 1000 UAH per month: 500 UAH is covered by the club, and the other 500 UAH is compensated by the LMR sports office.
Veteran sports is our priority, the program organizers state. It’s important to provide veterans with quality services. We are pleased with the program’s success and its expanding coverage. Residents of the Lviv community, including combat participants, persons with disabilities due to combat, and family members of fallen Defenders of Ukraine, can participate in this program.
To receive a membership compensation, one must submit documents through the CNAP: participant’s application, copies of passport and combat participant or member of the fallen Defenders’ ID. After the documents are verified, select a fitness club for training; pay part of the membership (500 UAH), which will be compensated; open a social account in “Oschadbank”; provide reporting documents at the end of the month to the sports office for compensation.
Currently, free services are available in 27 locations across all districts of Lviv, including clubs such as Sport Life, BRONX Fitness Hub, and others. In addition to training, medical services can be availed of, such as at Mashtaler Ortho&Trauma massage centers and other medical institutions.
