A PROBIG Charity Run was held in Lviv to raise funds in support of the Azov Brigade. The event was timed to mark the fifth anniversary of the public organisation “PROBIG Club”. According to the organisers, more than 300 participants joined the run, and so far UAH 180,000 has been raised out of the planned UAH 200,000.
Participants set off under inflatable gates, wearing sports kit with individual numbers. In addition to the runners who took to the course in Lviv, people from various regions of Ukraine joined the initiative online.
The fundraising was organised to strengthen the Azov Brigade as part of the “Dronopad” project, aimed at providing Ukrainian service personnel with the necessary means to strike the enemy and protect their troops.
The organisers note that it is becoming increasingly difficult to carry out such charitable initiatives due to limited resources, but they continue their work, combining sporting events with support for Ukraine’s defence.
The fundraising continues. On 2 August, a charity training session is planned at the Lem Station venue, which anyone can join by making a donation. This year, the organisers aim to raise at least UAH 200,000 and, if possible, reach 150% of that amount. All funds raised will be directed to support the Azov Brigade as part of the “Dronopad” project.
The run was organised by the PROBIG club with the support of the Lviv sports office.
