A charity run “Recovery 58. Keep Going!” is planned in Lviv, during which the founder of the charity foundation “With an Angel on the Shoulder” Yurii Fedechko intends to complete 240 laps of the Dynamo stadium on his 58th birthday. The total distance will be 110 kilometres.
The aim of the run is to raise 580 thousand hryvnias for the rehabilitation and mental recovery of 240 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who have undergone amputations and endured Russian captivity.
The organisers note that one symbolic lap of the marathon is valued at 2,416 hryvnias. Anyone interested can join the initiative: support one or several laps, make a charitable donation, or spread the word about the fundraising campaign.
