
From 24 to 26 July, the Ukrainian Pétanque Championship for adult athletes will take place in Stryiskyi Park in Lviv. During the tournament, the strongest players will be determined, who will join the national team to take part in the World Championship.
The competition is organised by the Ukrainian Pétanque Federation with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. Around 80–100 athletes from various regions of the country are expected to come to Lviv. Men and women will compete in separate tournaments with their own medal standings.
The championship will be held in the individual tête-à-tête discipline and the doubles discipline, duets. All games are scheduled to take place on the grounds of Stryiskyi Park at: vul. Ulasa Samchuka, 8.
The competition programme includes qualifying games in tête-à-tête on 24 July, the official opening of the championship on 25 July at 09:30, and the start of the qualifying matches in duets. On 26 July, the finals in both disciplines will be held under the knockout system.
