In the centre of Lviv, a charity music and sports run Running Rave by TANØK took place, combining a morning run, live electronic music and fundraising in support of the Defence Forces of Ukraine.
More than 100 participants lined up at the start. The route ran through the central streets of the city, and during the run DJ Yevgen Shulga performed live for the athletes. A car carrying the DJ moved ahead of the column of runners, turning the event into a mobile DJ set and creating the atmosphere of a street music festival.
The organisers combined a sporting event with a charitable goal: as part of Running Rave by TANØK, donations were collected to purchase drones for the 12th Special Purpose Brigade “Azov” of the National Guard of Ukraine in partnership with the azov.one platform. Locals and visitors to the city joined the initiative.
The run became part of the international Fête de la Musique (Fête de la Musique Lviv). On this day, Lviv once again joined the global festival: across different districts of the city, dozens of free concerts and artistic events are scheduled at 57 locations, running from 10:00 to 22:00.
Running Rave by TANØK is an element of the global Fête de la Musique movement and aims to bring people together around sport, music and charity in open urban spaces.
