On February 28, the regional Cheerleading Championship will begin in Lviv and will last until March 1. The event will take place at Bosco Arena on Kryvchytska Road, 19 D. According to the Lviv City Council, the event aims to support 4-year-old Mark Gladish, who is battling Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
More than 1000 athletes will participate in the competition. Among the teams are Lviv Angels, Nancy Dolls, Mavky, Bella, Fenix, FlexiChamps, as well as guests from Ivano-Frankivsk — clubs New Wave Dance and FireCats.
The championship will start on February 28 at 12:00 and will last until 18:30, and on March 1 from 10:00 to 16:30. Before the main part of the competition, the district stage of the School League of Lviv will take place, which is part of the “Shoulder to Shoulder” project.
Organizers urge to support Mark by donating to the bank or purchasing a blooming postcard for 200 UAH. The entrance ticket costs 150 UAH, and the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards the boy’s treatment. There will also be a charity auction where you can purchase painted clothespins by Lviv artist Olena Onufriv. The starting price is 5000 UAH, with a bid increment of 500 UAH.
The Championship is organized by the Lviv Regional Branch of the All-Ukrainian Cheerleading Federation with the assistance of the All-Ukrainian Cheerleading Federation. Organizers will provide additional details.
