Several decades ago, Lviv residents resumed the ancient tradition of getting together on Easter and making hayivky, thus confirming their Ukrainian identity. They chose Shevchenkivsky Grove as the place for the hayivky. The custom has stuck, and for many years now, Ukrainians from all over the country have been gathering here in a common, multi-voiced circle at Easter hayivky in Lviv. And this year, everyone is invited to unite around the tradition.
The program is subject to change, so stay tuned to the museum’s official website for updates.
The Klymentii Sheptytskyi Museum of Folk Architecture and Life in Lviv is located at 1 Chernecha Hora Street. The contact phone number is +38 (068) 525 91 85.
