Registration has opened in Lviv for the Warriors’ Archery Cup, which will take place on 16–18 August at the Dynamo stadium (10 Yaneva St). Veterans and serving personnel who sustained wounds, injuries, trauma, blast injuries or illnesses as a result of Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine are invited to take part.
The Warriors’ Cups are open regional competitions in adaptive sports. This time, athletes will compete in archery at a distance of 30 metres in three open categories: recurve bow, compound bow and team events.
Participants must provide their own bow and equipment, as well as a medical certificate confirming they are fit to compete.
The organisers have published the event schedule:
- 16 August — arrival of participants;
- 17 August — official opening at 10:00, qualifying round and individual competitions;
- 18 August — team events and awards ceremony for the winners.
The number of places is limited and advance registration is mandatory. Information about the registration form is being shared by the organisers via official channels.
