Free Archery Lessons for Military Personnel and Families of Fallen Soldiers in Lviv

This year, Lviv’s Comprehensive Sports Development Program for military personnel, war veterans, and adaptive sports enthusiasts is expanding to include free archery lessons. The first training session will take place on January 9 at 4:00 PM at the specialized youth Olympic reserve school “Electron” named after B. Kokot (11 Hrabovskyi Street).

Who Can Participate?

  • Military personnel.
  • Veterans.
  • Combat participants.
  • Family members of fallen soldiers.

Registration is not required, and all lessons are free of charge.

Training Details

The sessions will be led by Tetiana Yashchyshyn, a Ukrainian master of sports in archery, multiple national and international champion. Tetiana has extensive experience working with veterans at the “Halychyna” rehabilitation center, helping them improve both physical and mental health through sports.

“Archery became my way of recovering after a concussion. It significantly improved my physical and mental well-being. I invite everyone to try this sport,” said Tetiana.

Program Goals

The Comprehensive Sports Development Program for the military offers regular training and competitions in various sports. Currently, active directions include:

  • Boxing.
  • Judo.
  • Swimming.
  • Running.
  • Adaptive physical training.
  • General physical training.
  • Table tennis.

Additionally, the department is working on introducing cyber sports training.
