The 2023/2024 season of the Lviv school volleyball league has officially wrapped up, bringing together student teams from educational institutions across the Lviv community. The tournament consisted of three competitive stages and concluded with the selection of the top-performing teams in both girls’ and boys’ categories, divided by age groups: grades 5–9 and 9–11.

Winners of the city-level competitions earned the opportunity to compete at the regional stage as part of the nationwide project “Side by Side.” Success there will allow teams to advance to the national finals — the largest student sports competition in Ukraine.
For the 2024/2025 season, the school leagues in Lviv now feature 11 different sports, including basketball, volleyball, futsal, cheerleading, track and field, floorball, and newly added disciplines such as rugby-5, workout, handball, esports, and orienteering.
Additionally, the age range of participants was expanded and a balanced representation of boys and girls was introduced across all sports to ensure gender equality.
The final results for all school leagues in Lviv will be announced by May 15, 2025.
