The opening of the stadium was celebrated with a football match between the National Veteran Football Team of Ukraine and the Yavoriv Veteran National Team.
Today, July 16, Yevhen Smuk Stadium was opened in Yavorov, Lviv Oblast, after major renovations.
The implementation of the object took place within the framework of the program of the President of Ukraine “Big Construction”. Repairs began in 2021. The total estimated cost of the construction is more than UAH 32.6 million, of which UAH 7 million are DFRD funds; UAH 1 million – a subvention from the state budget and UAH 24.6 million – funds from the Yavoriv City Council budget.
After the renovation, in addition to the standard football field with athletics running tracks and sectors, the stadium was equipped with a whole complex of facilities: a modern volleyball and basketball court made of polyurethane, two mini-football fields made of artificial grass, a large training field made of natural grass, administrative and utility premises , changing rooms, training ground, stands for 935 spectators.
The head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytskyi, congratulated the Yavoriv community on the opening of a powerful sports facility, and together with the mayor of Yavoriv, Igor Grabovskyi, participated in celebrating the best athletes from Yavoriv.
“Let this stadium be a place where the emotions of victories and achievements will live. I sincerely wish that future sports stars of the All-Ukrainian and international levels train and develop here.

The opening of the stadium was timed to the Day of the City of Yavoriv and celebrated with a football match between the National Veteran Football Team of Ukraine and the Yavoriv Veterans National Team. And before the match, the first shot at the ball was made by Ukrainian defender Petro Buryak, who lost both legs and fingers of his left hand as a result of a serious injury, but lost opportunities were returned to him at the Superhumans Center.
During the event, all those willing could also participate in the charity lottery, the proceeds of which will be transferred to the needs of soldiers from Yavoriv region who defend our state in the ranks of territorial defense.
We will remind, as part of the “Great construction” earlier in the Lviv region, the stadiums in Chervonohrad, Sambor, Mostysk and Stryi were overhauled.
