From June 5 to 7, an international boxing tournament “Galician Cup” was held in the city of Mykolaiv, Lviv region. Boxers from the Czech Republic, Poland, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zakarpattia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Volyn, and Lviv regions participated in the competition.
Our athletes, pupils of the Sheptytskyi Children’s and Youth Sports School No. 2, demonstrated a high level of preparation and won 7 medals. The “gold” of the tournament was claimed by Nazar Koval, Yuriy Petrashkevych, and Tymofiy Filipchuk. The third honorable place was taken by boxers Artem Slavych, Mykhailo Malitskiy, Artem Sagan and Maksym Shulhan.
