From 29th to 31st May, Lviv will once again become the epicentre of the national UNBROKEN GAMES 2026 competition, hosting 570 athletes. Among the participants are military personnel, veterans, and individuals with disabilities due to wars.
The competitions will be held outdoors, featuring archery and various other disciplines. Participants will compete both individually and in teams over the three-day event. Friday will be dedicated to participant registration and classification.
On Saturday, competitions in table tennis, petanque, and archery will take place, followed by powerlifting and wheelchair basketball matches in the evening. The final day includes swimming and rowing on simulators. Notably, the competitions will extend into the open urban space.
The Director of the Lviv City Sports Office, Anton Nikulin, urged people to come and see the veterans and heroes in person: “We are developing UNBROKEN GAMES to engage more people.” Participants have the option to choose between ‘Amateur’ or ‘Professional’ statuses and prize winners will receive awards.
The prize fund is: 25,000 UAH for first place, 15,000 UAH for second, and 10,000 UAH for third. Stay actively tuned to the social media updates from local military sports organisations.
