The week of sports concluded in the Novoyavorivska community with a celebration of achievements.
Sport is an important part of life in the Novoyavorivska community. On the occasion of the Day of Physical Culture and Sports, the community expressed pride in its athletes, coaches, and fans. “Our athletes are the strength and pride of the community, which we will continue to support!”
Based on the results of the 2024 season, 290 of the best athletes, coaches, students, and physical education teachers were recognized. Among them are champions and prize-winners of Ukraine and Europe, holders of the Ukrainian and regional Cups, winners of national and regional competitions, masters of sports, and candidates for masters of sports. Certificates amounting to a total of 846,000 UAH were allocated to encourage athletes.
The community’s athletes represent various sports, showcasing strength, endurance, and character. Among the recognized were representatives of biathlon, boxing, bocce, football, futsal, handball, judo, athletics, figure skating, powerlifting, floorball, and checkers. Sport is an investment in the future, as it not only strengthens the body but also forges will and character.
