At the Paralympics, Vasyl Kravchuk from the Stryi District secured fourth place in the ‘open’ skiing relay. His team, which nearly clinched the bronze medal, was overtaken by Norway in the final metres of the race by just 0.2 seconds. This was reported by sport.lviv.oda.
Alongside Kravchuk, the Ukrainian national team included Dmytro Suiarco, Hryhorii Vovchynskyi, and Serafym Drahun. Vasyl represents the Lviv Regional Centre ‘Invasport’, and his coach is Kazakov Valerii. He hails from the village of Tukholka and works under the leadership of Roman Khymiak, the director of the Department of Sport, Youth, and Tourism in the Lviv Regional State Administration.
