A representative of the Drohobych community, Vitaliy Hlavach from Stebnyk, competed in the Open European Championship in kickboxing ISKA, which was held from 15th to 17th May 2026 in the city of Heilbronn, Germany. These prestigious competitions gathered nearly 1800 athletes from 30 countries worldwide.
Thanks to his efforts and high level of preparation, Vitaliy won silver in two categories – full-contact and K1-light in the weight category up to 80 kg. This significant achievement highlights that athletes from Drohobych are successfully representing Ukraine on an international level.
The leadership of the Drohobych community congratulated Vitaliy and his coach Anatoliy Hnatkiv on their high results, acknowledging their contribution to the glory of Ukrainian sport.
