Saturday, March 23, went down in the almost century-old history of Sokal volleyball. Volleyball club “Danish Textiles” in an extremely interesting and tense match defeated the Kyiv team “NUBiP of Ukraine” in a five-set match and won the right to play in the match for the gold medals of the First League of Ukraine
Semifinals. VC Danish Textile – NUBiP of Ukraine 3: 2 (22:25, 27:25, 23:25, 25:19, 15:13).
Perhaps the Ukrainian First League has never seen such volleyball. Both Danish Textile and NUBiP of Ukraine demonstrated the highest level of play! But Danish Textile is still stronger! Players of VC “Danish Textiles” in this game defeated both the opponent and won the victory over themselves, proving that their game deserves to play in the match for the gold medals of the first league of our country for the first time in the history of Sokal volleyball!
This match will certainly be forever remembered by our fans, who, with their strong support, helped our team defeat the Kyiv volleyball team.
