The second stage of the large-scale international competition The Nordic Water Polo League has ended in Stockholm. The water polo players of VC Dynamo Lviv played three matches and took first place in Group H.
This was reported by the Department of Youth and Sports of the Lviv Regional State Administration.
There were six teams in Group H, which at the preliminary stage, according to the rating, were divided into two subgroups – three in each. Lviv got into the H1 subgroup together with Neptune Stockholm (Sweden) and the Lithuanian club Vilnius Dolphins. Another Swedish club from Stockholm, SPIF Vattenpollo, Finnish Ketus Espoo and Modri Drachi Kosice from Slovakia played in the H2 subgroup.
At the end of the group matches, on the third and final day of play, the teams played butt matches. The winners of the subgroups in the head-to-head confrontation played in the final for first place; the teams that came in second in the groups played for the final third place; and the losers – fifth.
The first three teams of Group H won tickets to the Final Eight of the Nordic Water Polo League 2024.

“In general, all the teams were within our reach. We played two games well, but the third one was not successful, we lacked strength due to the difficult road and schedule. We will correct our mistakes upon arrival and prepare for the final round. Our ambitions are only to win!” said Konstantin Alekseev, a player of VC Dynamo Lviv.
