On Thursday, February 26, in the city of Brody, the third (district) stage of the national project “Side by Side. National School Leagues” took place in volleyball among boys and girls of grades 9–11. The Busk city territorial community was represented at the competition by the winners of the second stage, which took place in the community among students of general secondary education institutions: the team of Ozhydiv ZSSO I–III degrees (girls) and the team of Busk OZZSO I–III degrees No. 1 (boys). The students performed with dignity, winning silver medals and demonstrating character, cohesion, team spirit, and a true desire for victory. More details about the event can be found on gromadabusk.
Competition results:
- Girls: 1st place — Brody OZZSO I–III degrees No. 4 team, 2nd place — Ozhydiv ZSSO I–III degrees team, 3rd place — Nakvasha ZSSO I–III degrees team, 4th place — Krasne OZZSO I–III degrees No. 1 team.
- Boys: 1st place — Berlin ZSSO I–III degrees team, 2nd place — Busk OZZSO I–III degrees No. 1 team, 3rd place — Zozuli ZSSO I–III degrees team, 4th place — Markopil ZSSO I–III degrees team.
We sincerely thank our teams for their worthy performance, the silver medals won, perseverance, and will to win, as well as physical education teachers Roman Batyuk, Oleh Buda, and Ivan Hrenachyk for the quality preparation of students for the competitions.

Participants of the competition are grateful to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, thanks to whom they have the opportunity to live, study, and engage in physical culture and sports.
It should be noted that “Side by Side. National School Leagues” is a competition among students of Ukraine under the slogan “TOGETHER WE WILL WIN.” In the 2025–2026 season of the “Side by Side. National School Leagues” project, competitions are held in 12 sports: basketball, basketball 3×3, biathlon, volleyball, handball, athletics, rugby-5, orienteering, table tennis, football, cheerleading, and chess.
On March 4, the Rakobovtiv branch team of Busk OZZSO I–III degrees No. 1 will represent our community in the third stage of table tennis competitions, which will take place in the village of Andriyivka (Krasne STG).
