The Ukrainian Road Cycling Championship for boys, girls, as well as younger boys and girls, took place in Yavoriv from 6 to 9 August. Students of the municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Professional College of Sport” returned from the competition with a full set of medals.
Oleh Papizh and Dmytro Konanets became champions of Ukraine, winning first place in the 25 km team time trial. In the 20 km pair time trial, this duo finished second, adding silver medals to the team's tally.
Other college students also delivered strong performances. Nataliia Kuzyk finished fifth in the 15 km girls' race. Dmytro Konanets finished fourth in the criterium race, while Oleh Papizh recorded the eighth-best result in this discipline.
