Students of the municipal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Lviv Vocational Sports College” have won two medals at the European Under-23 Shooting Championship, which is taking place from 1 to 12 August in Wrocław (Poland).
The bronze medal in the Olympic event PP-3 (air pistol) was claimed by Year 11 graduate and prospective college student Yuliia Isachenko.
The Ukrainian team secured another medal in the team competition in the same PP-3 event. As part of the national team, Yuliia Isachenko and third-year student of Lviv Vocational Sports College Olha Lepska became silver medallists of the European Championships.
“We congratulate Yuliia Isachenko, Olha Lepska and their coaches Serhii Banakh and Viktoriia Korostylova on their outstanding results on the international stage. We wish the athletes further success, pinpoint accuracy and bright victories as part of the national team of Ukraine,” noted Lviv Vocational Sports College.
