From 4 to 6 July, the Ukrainian road cycling championship for boys and girls took place in Bila Tserkva.
The championship was attended by 25 teams, including the pupils of the Medik Sports School, who not only represented Drohobych at the competition but also won prizes.
Anastasiia Saturova won the first place and the title of the champion of Ukraine in the group race of 53 km among girls with a finishing sprint. The athlete also took third place in the individual time trial with a time of 24:50.803.
Artur Stetsiv took third place in the individual time trial with a time of 22:06.042.
Artur Stetsiv and Pavlo Lozynsky took first place in the team standings as part of the Lviv Oblast team in the individual race.
On the second day of the championship, the Medic Sports School competed in the group race and took fourth place in the team standings as part of the team consisting of Artur Stetsiv, Roman Koshelev, Oleksandr Lepak, Nazar Pylya, Pavlo Lozynskyi and Vitalii Prystai.
The season continues, there are still many competitions ahead, both on the road and on the cycle track, so we wish our athletes further success in cycling! May each start bring even more victories.
