The winners of the competitions among women and men were two teams from the Lviv region.
Today, July 9, the finals of the Cup of Ukraine in water polo among men’s and women’s teams were held on the territory of the training and sports base for summer sports of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. 11 teams, including 3 women’s and 8 men’s, took part in the three-day competition.
In the final match, the female water polo players of the Lviv club “Dynamo-Amazonka” won the championship, and the representatives of the water polo club “Dynamo” Lviv became the champions among men.
“You have demonstrated a high level of skill and fortitude by winning medals. Your achievements are an example for athletes and a confirmation that dreams come true through hard work. I sincerely congratulate you on your successful performance at the competition and wish you further victories,” said the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi.
Teams from Zakarpattia, Kyiv, Kharkiv and Donetsk regions also took part in the competition.
