This year, the race gathered 250 people. There are people who ran in other cities and villages and joined online.
On the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the Defenders of Ukraine, who died for the independence and freedom of our country, in various regions, including in the Lviv region, a patriotic race “I honor the soldiers, I run for the heroes of Ukraine” will be held.
The participants were 250 people who covered selected distances in Stryi Park. There are also participants who ran in other cities and towns and joined online.
The event was held in memory of all our fallen Heroes, in memory of all those thanks to whom we live under the blue-yellow flag.
“I thank the father of the fallen Hero of the Russian-Ukrainian war, the “cyborg” Oleksiy Durmasenko, on whose initiative the race is being held for the sixth time. Gratitude to all relatives of our defenders, whom, unfortunately, we have lost forever, for a great example of resilience. The memory of our defenders lives not only in the names of streets and memorials, but primarily in completing what they started. In deeds that our Heroes would approve of. In our future victory”, – stressed the head of Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
