Eva Soroka Wins Bronze Medal at the European Cup in Triathlon in Portugal
In Portugal, 41 athletes from 11 countries competed for the European Cup awards. Eva Soroka took third place, finishing three seconds behind the silver medalist, Spain’s Cristina Jiménez Orti-Guerrero. The competition was won by Switzerland’s Danna Anouk.

“Two months of hard work, injuries, and support from coaches, and my group overall, my sister made this result possible. I am very grateful to everyone because without them, even without the shouting that happened today, nothing would have worked out,” Eva Soroka told the Triathlon Federation of Ukraine.
“Eva trains at the Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery under the guidance of Ukraine’s Honored Coach Anatolii Shevchuk,” noted Roman Khimiak, Director of the Department of Sports, Youth, and Tourism of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
