Ukrainian boxer Karolina Makhno won a gold medal at the European Under-22 Boxing Championships in Croatia.
The athlete competes in the weight category up to 75 kilograms. In the final, the Ukrainian defeated the representative of Ireland Carabin Eibhe. Olga Shalimova (48 kg), Sabina Novosad (52 kg) and Olesya Krysiuk (81 kg) became bronze medalists of the continental championship.
Today we will cheer for our guys, because the tournament is the final day of the competition. Four Ukrainian boxers will box in the finals – Andriy Yukhymovich (48 kg), Maksym Vlasyuk (60 kg), Ivan Sapun (86 kg) and Yuriy Zakhareyev.
