Pavlo Korostylov and Yulia Korostylova from Lviv won gold medals at the III European Games in Krakow, Poland.
Today there was a competition among the representatives of the rapid-fire pistol. Having overcome the first stage of qualification in the second place, the duo from Lviv managed to qualify for the golden final, where they had to compete against a team from the Czech Republic. The final was quite tense until Pavlo Korostylov started making “clean” streaks, hitting all 5 shots with a score of 9.7+. The final result is 16:6 in favor of the Ukrainian team.
Pavlo Korostylov and Yuliya Korostylova were among the favorites in the pole vault competition from the rapid-fire pistol in mixed teams, so their victory was expected.
