Yesterday marked the beginning of the third (district) stage of the national “Side by Side” School League competitions for the 2025/2026 academic year in the Sheptytskyi district. The first to compete were volleyball teams of boys and girls from grades 9 to 11. Matches took place in the Sokal Youth Sports School gym.
Results among boys:
- 3rd place – Velykomosty Lyceum team (Velykomosty Territorial Community),
- 2nd place – Taras Horodetskyi Lyceum (Sheptytska City Council),
- 1st place – Sokal Secondary School #2 (Sokal City Council).
Girls’ results:
- 3rd place – Taras Horodetskyi Lyceum (Sheptytskyi),
- 2nd place – Radekhiv Basic Secondary School (Radekhiv City Council),
- 1st place – Sokal Secondary School #2 girls’ team.
Thus, it will be the boys’ and girls’ volleyball teams from Sokal School #2 who will represent Sheptytskyi district in the regional stage of the competition.
