The Lviv Region Boxing Championship among junior boys and girls born in 2010–2011 concluded on 13 June. Over three days, 127 athletes from various localities across the Lviv region competed for the title of the strongest and the right to represent the region at the Ukrainian Championship.
The “Tin” sports club was worthily represented by its trainees, who demonstrated a high level of preparation, endurance and sporting spirit.
Following the results of the competition, Danylo Datsko took first place in the over 80 kg weight category and was selected for the Lviv Region national team. Ahead of the athlete is participation in the Ukrainian Junior Championship.
Bohdan Salaban claimed third place in the 52 kg weight category. In the semi-final he lost to the reigning champion, while demonstrating a commendable level of boxing and a strong will to win.
