Young wrestlers from the Truskavets community have taken podium places at the open freestyle wrestling tournament “Brave Hearts”, which took place on 23 May in Lviv to mark Heroes’ Day. This was reported by the Truskavets City Council.
Pupils of the freestyle wrestling section of SDYUSSHOR “Veslyaryk”, whose training sessions are held in the village of Stanylia in the Truskavets community, took part in the competition dedicated to the indomitable and courageous Defenders of Ukraine.
Based on the results of the tournament, the silver medal was won by Daniil Havryliak, and the bronze medal went to Bohdan Shymko.
The Truskavets City Council commended the achievements of the athletes and their coach, Pavlo Bilas.
