More than 750 young athletes from 22 regions of Ukraine gathered in the Lviv region to participate in the All-Ukrainian Judo Tournament.
The competition was held without entry fees, allowing all participants to showcase their skills. The teams Romny Judo (Sumy), КДЮСШ «Динамо» (Kyiv), and JUDO-80 (Dnipro) won the most medals.
“These competitions are not so much about medals as they are about faith. About the struggle that begins long before stepping onto the mat. They are about children who train in shelters, fall asleep to the sounds of sirens and ‘shaheds’, yet continue to dream and, most importantly, to realize their dreams”, said one of the organizers.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to Orest Kavetksy, the charitable foundation “KAVA”, partners, and patrons for supporting the tournament. Despite the war, children should have a childhood, and adults need to ensure this.
