From 18th to 26th April, the Ukrainian Powerlifting Championship took place in Kolomyia, where young athletes from DYSC “Veres” showcased a high level of preparation. They proudly represented their community, winning medals and setting records.
Among the results: Dmytro Futera won gold in the under 66 kg category, setting Ukrainian records in the squat and total triathlon, earning the title of Master of Sport of Ukraine. Iryna Mykolaichuk became the Ukrainian champion among girls in the under 53 kg category. Yarchyk Kubashek took third place in the squat, and Mykhailo Shepta won bronze in the bench press and squat in the under 53 kg category.
These achievements testify to a strong powerlifting school and the diligent work of the athletes and coaches. Congratulations on the successes and best wishes for new victories in international competitions!
