Eight-year-old Truskavets resident Murat Bardakchi has become a bronze medallist at the European Youth Rapid & Blitz Chess Championship, which took place in the Polish city of Rzeszów. The tournament brought together almost a thousand participants from various European countries.
In the Open U8 Blitz category, the young chess player from Truskavets demonstrated a high level of play, quick thinking and composure, taking third place among the strongest chess players on the continent under the age of 8.
Murat Bardakchi’s achievement is a significant result not only for the player himself, but also for Truskavets and Ukraine as a whole, as the boy has entered the top three in Europe in his age group.
The community warmly congratulates the young resident of Truskavets on his successful performance and wishes him further victories at international chess tournaments.
