Many good deeds have been done by the students of the Kariivka Junior Secondary School. They record Ukrainian folk songs, collect clothes and embroidered shirts.
High school students are active participants in amateur performances.
Under the guidance of their teacher, Valentina Timofeevna Gego, they learn folk dances and spring dances.
Wherever this group performs, they are met with applause.
The students from Kara present interesting concert programmes to their fellow villagers.
They perform in the fields at the farms of the local Prykordonnyk collective farm.
In addition, they take part in caring for the fields and gardens, harvesting crops and helping their parents.
