The works of scientists or groups of scientists who have obtained a higher specialized education, specialize in the field of history, are citizens of Ukraine and live in the Lviv region will be allowed to participate in the Competition.
The Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv Regional Military Administration announces a competition for financial aid for conducting historical research on the formation of Ukrainian statehood for the implementation of the Program for Restoration, Preservation of National Memory and protocol measures in the Lviv Region for 2021-2025 in 2023.
The main task of the Competition is to involve scientists in conducting historical research on the formation of Ukrainian statehood in certain topics. In each of the topics, the winner will be determined, who will receive a monetary reward in the amount of 30,000 hryvnias.
The works of scientists or groups of scientists (no more than three people on one topic) who have obtained a higher specialized education, specialize in the field of history, are citizens of Ukraine and live in the Lviv region will be allowed to participate in the Competition.
The tender offer includes the following documents: registration card; scientific non-fiction article, biographical information about the author/authors. Basic information about the article is included in the registration card. The biographical reference should contain biographical information about the authors, information about their education, work experience, and scientific achievements.
For the Competition, it is necessary to submit competitive proposals with scientific and journalistic articles by scientists on the following topics:
– Ukrainian statehood of the princely era;
– Cossack-hetman state;
– Ukrainian statehood during the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921;
– Carpathian Ukraine and the Act of June 30, 1941: attempts to restore Ukraine’s statehood on the eve and during the Second World War;
– Ukraine at the turn of the millennium: the struggle for recognition in the world community.
The requirements for the article are specified in the Regulation on holding the regional competition “History of Ukrainian Statehood” in 2023, which was approved by the order of the head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration No. 254/0/5-23BA dated 04/21/2023.
Competitive proposals must be submitted to the Department of Communications and Internal Policy of the Lviv Regional Government Office by June 30, 2023, on working days from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday. from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., (lunch break from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.) at the address: Lviv, str. 403, 18 Vinnychenko Street.
