In the Sheptytska community, there is active support for orphans by providing them with new families.
According to the Department for Children of the Sheptytska City Council, there are 128 orphans and children deprived of parental care registered in the community. Of these, 118 children are already being raised under guardianship and care.
Throughout 2025, 30 more children were placed under guardianship. During this period, five children were adopted, giving them new loving families. Five children are raised in foster families and family-type orphanages, and another five are temporarily residing in the charitable foundation “Social and Rehabilitation Center for Child Care ‘Children’s Paths’.”
