At the initiative of the prosecutors of the Lviv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, cigarettes were once again handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This time, 25,000 packs of cigarettes with an estimated value of more than UAH 1 million.
The above-mentioned goods were seized and seized during searches in the territory of the Lviv region.
The searches were conducted during a pre-trial investigation within the framework of criminal proceedings on the facts of the sale of illegally manufactured excise goods.
Subsequently, the prosecutors initiated an appeal to the court and received a decision to transfer the mentioned physical evidence to the needs of the army.
As of April 10, cigarettes have actually been handed over to representatives of three military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The indictment in the criminal proceedings has been sent to the court for consideration on the merits.
