Belzshchyna Unites Efforts to Support Defenders
Belzshchyna is actively participating in supporting Ukrainian military personnel by providing humanitarian aid to the servicemen of the Luhansk Border Guard Unit 53rd Brigade \”Shkval\”. The community quickly responded to the military’s request by collecting necessary items.
Contents of the Aid
- Food – canned goods, pastries, tea, coffee, cookies, instant soups, and mashed potatoes.
- Underwear and medicines – for the comfort and health of the servicemen.
- Hygiene products – wipes, wet towels, razors.
This aid was made possible through the efforts of the community members, volunteers, entrepreneurs, and educational institutions of Belzshchyna. Residents from different districts, as well as employees of the Belz City Council and parishioners of the UGCC, participated in the collection.
Financial Support
Funds for fuel and other needs were collected for the organization of the trip. The charity concert \”Shevchenko’s Thoughts\” in Vanovo also contributed to fundraising.
The humanitarian mission was led by Father Oleksiy Yavorsky along with volunteers from the Belz community. We thank everyone who participated, and we continue to work for our defenders!
