“Community security”: police officers conducted trainings for schoolchildren in Chervonohrad

Explosives specialists of the Lviv Oblast police, juvenile police officers of the Chervonohrad district police department, as well as patrol police officers, together with rescuers and representatives of the Maltese Aid Service, held the event “Community Safety” for students of grades 7-9 of local schools.

In the central square of Chervonograd, locations with special simulators were set up for studying the Rules of the Road, providing emergency medical aid, etc.

Police explosives experts reminded those present of the rules of mine safety – in particular, after discovering a suspicious object, under no circumstances should you touch it, move it, or try to defuse it yourself. In such cases, you should immediately report the find to 102.

Employees of the State Emergency Service demonstrated the equipment with which they dismantle debris and rescue people.

In addition, on a special road model, children had the opportunity to learn the Rules of the Road, as well as practice various situations that may happen on the road in a safe environment

The students also learned to provide first aid with a representative of the Maltese service.

Schoolchildren attended the training with interest, and also had the opportunity to try on police equipment, sit in an official car, take photos with police officers and take selfies.

The event took place within the framework of the European Union Consultative Mission (EUC) project on reforming the civil security sector in Ukraine.
