Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy met with Lviv sportsmen Pavel and Yulia Korostylova, who won medals at the World Shotgun Championship in Egypt. For their achievements, the mayor of Lviv presented them with awards from the city community.
“On behalf of the community of the city of Lviv, I want to thank you for your work for our city, for the country. Thanks to your victories, our Ukrainian flag rises above the pedestal,” Andriy Sadovy said.
So, Yuliya Korostylova received a certificate for 48 thousand hryvnias, Pavlo Korostylov – for 50 thousand, and their coach Serhiy Korostylov – for 98 thousand.
In addition, Andriy Sadovy presented a chest ensign of Ukraine to Ruslan Senyk, head of the Training and Sports Base of Summer Sports of the MOU-SKA, where athletes train.
We will remind you that Pavlo Korostylov won as many as 4 medals:
· “gold” in the MP-10 exercise (shooting with a standard pistol at 25 meters);
· “silver” in the team championship in shooting from a high-speed small-caliber pistol at 25 meters;
· “bronze” in exercise PP-3 (shooting from a pneumatic pistol at 10 meters) and in a mixed pair (shooting from a standard pistol at 25 meters).
Pavlo also chose a license for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
Yuliya Korostylova and her colleague from Poltava became world champions in the mixed pairs competition (25-meter rapid fire pistol).
