As a result of an emergency situation, not only settlements in the Sheptytska community but also a number of other areas in northern Lviv region have been left without electricity. Official information from Lvivoblenergo is currently awaited regarding the causes of the outage and the estimated time for restoring power supply.
According to Holos Sokalshchyny, a similar situation has also developed in the Sokal community. Restoration work is ongoing outside the community. Once the work is completed, electricity supply in the affected settlements is expected to resume.
Due to the lack of electricity, water pressure has dropped in Sokal. Utility services are monitoring the situation and preparing further actions depending on when power supply is restored.
In the Sheptytska community, the municipal enterprise Vodokanal is also preparing its equipment for launch. If electricity is not restored soon, utility workers will make additional decisions regarding the operation of the wastewater system.
Main consequences of the accident:
