Carpathian Border Guards discovered attempts to illegally transport goods across the border.
At ‘Krakivets’, border guards found Italian-made auto parts and over 300 pieces of cosmetics. French brand jewelry was also discovered.
At ‘Shehyni’, digital video cameras worth 200,000 hryvnias and 154 clothing items worth 450,000 hryvnias were found. Another vehicle was transporting clothes, shoes, and cosmetics from the EU. In another vehicle, 23 pairs of shoes and virtual reality glasses were found.
At ‘Hrushev’, 60 pairs of brand shoes worth over 300,000 hryvnias were discovered.
At ‘Smilnytsia’, an antique samovar from the 18th century was found. An expert examination will determine its cultural or historical value.
The operations were conducted jointly with customs officials.
